Lorna Drake arrives from England to take over the ranch. Although she and Hoppy argue most of the time, she takes a liking to him, which angers her fiance Ronald. This enables Scar to enlist Ronald's help in his plan to kill Hoppy. But when Hoppy foils that plan, a forest fire develops, endangering Lorna.
