Steven Toast, an eccentric middle-aged actor with a chequered past, spends more time dealing with his problems off stage than performing on stage.

Steven Toast is a veteran English actor but is currently struggling to land roles. This leads to him making some questionable decisions. He's even doing voice-over work. He seems to spend more time dealing with personal issues than acting. One recurring problem is his nemesis and fellow actor, Ray Purchase.
