Wyoming

1940NR1h 28m6.5

After the Civil War, an ex-Confederate soldier is murdered by cattle-rustlers when he returns home to Wyoming, but a fugitive train-robber steps in to avenge his death and aid his family in their fight against a local land-grabber.

With the Army after him and his partner deserting, Reb decides that a change of scenery would be nice so he heads for Wyoming with Dave. To show his gratitude to Dave, he steals his horse and gun, which causes Dave to be killed by cattle rustlers. While Reb is an outlaw and a teller of tall tales, he still feels responsible for the Kincaid Ranch and helps all the Ranchers battle Buckley, who wants to drive them all out. Even General Custer gets involved in chasing Reb with his two-man cavalry.
