A cowboy tries to protect a young woman whose father was murdered because he had railroad maps that showed the location of a proposed new line. Now the killers are after her because they think she has the maps.

After her father is killed by the local banker in a struggle over some valuable railroad maps, Tiny is adopted by cowboy Ted Wright. As Ted cares for the little girl, the banker and a crooked sheriff make repeated attempts to steal the maps, which contain information concerning the location of new railroad lines, but are thwarted by the cowboy. Finally, Tiny is kidnapped by a cohort of the banker and the sheriff. A posse pursues the kidnapper trying to rescue Tiny.
