Finding themselves homeless on Christmas Eve, the Mouse family happen upon the Atwell family home, where the Holiday spirit is in full swing. Mother and Father Mouse are happy to have found somewhere to keep their children Skip and Squeek out of the cold. Asking their parents "what's Christmas?" Skip and Squeak are told it's some "Fool thing humans celebrate". Now the Mouse children are on a quest. To find the real meaning of Christmas.
