Chorus girl Gloria Winters is overjoyed that wealthy young Randy Bradford is so eager to marry her that he's asked her to elope. Before they can leave, he is contacted by Mark Willows, who runs a Wall Street financial organization founded by Randy's father. Willows stipulates that Randy will be disinherited should he elope with Gloria, who is naturally upset. When she goes to see Willows, she expects an older man and is thrown off-balance by his youth and charm. Without revealing her true identity, Gloria lands a job at Willows' firm as a switchboard operator, but her slip of the tongue costs Willows a great deal of money and he fires her. He calms down and tries to make it up to her, but when he visits the apartment she shares with fellow chorine Sally Long, he discovers who she really is, but an attraction forms, and in the end Gloria elopes with him.
