The last 24 hours in the life of the Jimi Hendrix are being reconstructed, by means of reenactments and voice-over comments. The theory of this film is that the CIA was behind the killing of Jimi Hendrix.

The movie summarizes the life and career of Jimi Hendrix, and focuses on the last 24 hours before his death. Reenactments of the last conversations and meetings of Jimi, as well as interviews with some close friends of Jimi, unfold a theory that the Jimi Hendrix was murdered. Officially Jimi died of drowning in red wine, since 400 ml of wine was found in his lungs after an autopsy. According to some testimonials, the CIA would have been directly involved in the murder, since Jimi was starting to become threat to the American government. Jimi was becoming one of the biggest musical stars of his generation, while having ties with The Black Panthers and openly criticizing the Vietnam war.
