Lia has a food delivery company, The Loving Spoonful, which she runs with the support of a friend who helps her alongside her studies. The company is barely getting by, partly because Lia insists on doing everything herself and doesn't want to grow and bring in more help. Now she gets a new neighbor when Eli and his niece move in. The niece is going to summer camp and they need a food provider. Eli then thinks of his new neighbor and tries to get her to take on the task. It could save her company but also mean more work than she has the capacity for. However, Eli and Lia's friend persuade her to take on the challenge.

Follows Lia who struggles to expand her non-profit meal delivery service because she insists on doing everything on her own, but with the help of Eli she discovers that business, just like romance, can bloom with a little effort and trust.
