Without a care in the world, a young Athenian is in for a rude awakening when he receives news that an old military friend has passed on. Under the scorching summer sun, the man heads to the cemetery to reunite with another friend and, unable to cope with grief, realises that, before the cruel certainty of death, the remedy for pain is compassion, hope, and omnipotent love.
