Cousin Maggie leaves Honey Halfwitch alone while she goes to town to buy a monster. Honey gets lonely and longs for a companion. A traveling salesman gives Honey a sample of his wares: a special potion mix that will create a creature for Honey to keep as a pet. Honey meant to add only a pinch of the potion to her cauldron, but accidentally drops the whole box into her brew instead. As Honey tries to return all the monsters to the cauldron, a passing dragon gives her trouble.
