After Peaches' father is accidentally killed, she becomes the youngest owner of a racehorse, the amazing Wonder Boy. Peaches presence at the track is key to Wonder Boy's performance, so forces betting on another horse arrange to have her taken into custody by child authorities, but she is rescued by Mrs. Van Gordon, who later adopts her, and returns to the track in time to inspire Wonder Boy to a win.
