Warigami

This is a synopsis of what aired as a single movie on The CW. Sadako's passport indicates she needs to be questioned. She has not necessarily done anything wrong, but she is detained briefly by what may have been the TSA. Unfortunately for them, she is one of a group of Japanese people who many years ago were granted the power to use ordinary paper as a weapon. Vincent and Mark grew up together as foster children. Now, they have jobs breaking into homes and steal electronic devices. Ironically, Mark is the tech expert. One day they go to the home of James Ohata, and though he appears wealthy, he has nothing they can steal. And his granddaughter. Wendy is an expert fighter. Eventually, Vincent and Mark encounter Wendy again and make an important discovery. James is kidnapped. There is a mystery to solve, and Mark and Wendy discover that under very specific circumstances, they have the super power that Sadako has. In the process of solving their mystery, the young people run into danger many times, and of course Sadako wants what they want and they have to deal with her as well. Hard choices and sacrifices need to be made, and the cast learns a lot about what family means.
