The Chase is a BBC drama series that first aired on 16 July 2006. The Chase centred around a family run veterinary practice. It was co-written by Gaynor Faye, the daughter of the show's creator, Kay Mellor. Much filming for the series was carried out in and around Otley, West Yorkshire; the series is set in the fictional town of "Oxley".

From the writer/creator of The Syndicate and Girlfriends comes this addictive drama about a family-run veterinary practice in Yorkshire. Sisters Anna and Sarah couldn't be more different: Anna is a hardworking mother who runs the clinic with her father, while glamorous Sarah left home for London years ago. A wedding brings them all together, but long-simmering secrets may soon tear them apart.
