Beat cop Joe Forrester walks the mean streets of Los Angeles.
Sitting behind a desk or wearing a suit and tie while investigating fancy crimes was no life for Joe Forrester. That's why Joe chose to continue walking a beat, believing that a policeman could do better work the closer he got to the community he was protecting. In his uniform blues, Joe handled robbers, runaways, pushers and arsonists more than crazed killers and rapists. Sgt. Vincent was Joe's boss, and lovely Georgia his girlfriend.
