Biography

Santos's on screen career started with a featured role in the South African drama Ayeye, produced by The Bomb Shelter. In 2015 she starred in her first featured film, in the South African independently produced Free State, as supporting lead alongside Nicola Breytenbach, Andrew Govender, Leleti Khumalo and Deon Lotz. The film was directed by Salmon de Jager. Her first lead role was in the critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic film, Last Broken Darkness, as the female lead 'Rose'. The movie was written and directed by Christopher-Lee Dos Santos and also starred Sean Cameron Michael and Brandon Auret. The film premiered at the Sunscreen Film Festival in St Petersburg, Florida in early 2017 where Santos was asked to speak at the 'Women in Film & Voice' Workshop panel, alongside Daphne Zuniga, Edy Ganem, Selenis Leyva and producers Jennifer Gelfer and Thada Catalon. Along with making cameos in the South African films The Jakes are Missing(Directed by FigJam Productions) and Looking for Love(Directed by Adze Ugah), Santos also appeared in an episode of the American television series ICE alongside Cam Gigante and Jeremy Sisto.
