Dr. Daniel Westin was a brilliant scientist working for an American thinktank who discovered a method to turn objects invisible. Not wanting his notes to fall into the wrong hands (including those of the U.S. Government), he destroyed all evidence of his discovery, and turned himself invisible to test it. Unfortunately, he didn't know how to turn himself visible again, so he wore a (extremely realistic) mask in public while searching for a cure.
The Invisible Man
Having nothing to do with H.G. Wells novel beyond the premise of a scientist making himself invisible, this is a TV-series pilot which even changes the characters' names.
