The Best Little Girl in the World

1981 NR 1h 40m 6.3

A young girl develops an eating disorder, alternately starving herself or throwing up food. Her parents, angry and desperate, send her to a hospital. Unfortunately, she befriends a patient who convinces her to hide her illness.

Teenage Casey Powell secretly suffers from anorexia nervosa, a mental and physical illness of deliberately starving herself or making herself vomit, because of her troubled home life and problems at school. Her bickering parents must put aside their differences to help her recover before her condition kills her.
