In 2022, in Plymouth, Massachusetts, Sheriff Eric Newlon arrives at the house of Amanda and Mitch Collins to celebrate the Thanksgiving with the couple and their friends. Meanwhile, Thomas Wright, his fiancée Kathleen and his daughter Jessica Wright are celebrating with their family and Jessica's boyfriend. However, Mitch needs to leave the dinner party with the Sheriff since his boss, Thomas, has decided to open his department store RightMart for the Black Friday and a crowd is waiting for the opening of the store and there are only two security guards at the place. Jessica lets her boyfriend Bobby and her friends Evan Fletcher, Gabby, Scuba and Yulia enter the store earlier through a side door. Evan provokes the crowd showing his shopping and a man named Lonnie instigate the crowd to do a riot. The crowd forces the entrance in the store and several people die, including one security guard and Amanda, who had come to the store to bring dinner for Mitch. Bobby, who is a great baseball player, breaks his arm trying to save one security guard. After the incident, Bobby leaves Plymouth and RightMart is sued by many people. One year later, Bobby returns to the town and a masked man wearing John Carver's mask begins a crime spree on the Thanksgiving Day. Who is he and why is he doing this?
