Talked to Death looks at the dark side of Daytime Talk Shows as it examines 'trash TV'. It first talks to talk show hosts about how they understand their field. It, then, goes backstage to talk to producers who manipulate guests into having entertaining interactions. It looks at the fierce competition between shows for unusual guests and how some shows put on fake guests. Finally, it talks to victimized guests from ambush interviews and looks at the murder of Scott Amedure.
