Beginning with a funny mock commercial of 1950s B&W educational films (that insists "One not to be scared of homosexuals"), this hilarious comedy from director P.J. Castellaneta skewers sexual stereotypes, game-playing and relationships with a savage wit and a keen eye. A close-knit group of poly-sexual, multiracial West Hollywood friends include: Tara (Jennifer Tilly), who is desperate to have a turkey-baster child; her friends Vincey (Mitchell Anderson), a lovelorn gay playwright; Robin (Lori Petty), who pines for the voluptuous Sarina (Cynda Williams), who in turn is ending a long-tern relationship with Megan (Serena Scott Thomas).
