Hostess Lauren Bacall takes her audience on a retrospective of the history of the kiss from Thomas Edison's 1897 "The Kiss," shot in Menlo Park, New Jersey through the silent films, culminating with the the classic Hollywood productions of the 50s. Scores of classic clips are shown with commentary from Miss Bacall. Special attention is given to musical romance, the teams of Garland and Rooney, Humphrey Bogart, and Cary Grant.
