Journey Together

1945 NR 1h 35m 6.5

British propaganda film from WWII stressing the importance of the navigator on RAF's bomber crews.

David Wilton (Sir Richard Attenborough), John Aynesworth (Jack Watling), and Smith (David Tomlinson) are among a group of cadets hoping to become Royal Air Force pilots. However, David has poor height perception and cannot master his landings, so he's sent to navigator school, but can't concentrate on his new job because he's despondent over losing his chance to be "something important"--a pilot. His friends and teachers unite in an effort to show David the vast importance of the navigator, something he learns for himself over the target city of Berlin.
