On their way to visit their son, Rusty, and his family, the merry holidaymakers, Clark and Ellen Griswold, still using that reliable Wagon Queen Family Truckster they used to drive in Vacation (1983), decide to make a stop at the fancy hotel called Le Grand Connard. But there, at the supposedly sophisticated establishment, anything that can go wrong will go wrong, ruining Clark and Ellen's brief second honeymoon.
