Being Gay, Asian, and in a family with a remarried father, stepmother who refers to herself as a former actress, a younger brother and older stepbrother. The stepmother finds a gay mag in protagonist's room, "outs" him to father with his subsequent expulsion from the family by the father. Now homeless, he becomes a hustler, takes refuge with another boy, a drug dealer, but as improbable as it might likely be, a relationship develops between these boys. With his new friend, the protagonist later tries to steal an important memento of his deceased mother from the family house, but a siege situation evolves. A lot is revealed about the relationships in this family and best of all, the protagonist and his boyfriend discover something wonderful about their own relationship. The plot (mounting tension during a drive) is incidental to this film which appears to be a lot more about people, relationships, and in the end, love is everything.
