From the 80s to the entire world.

1989. With the wonder years close to the end, MTV reunited a lot of famous and all kind of celebrities to make a review about the (then) last ten years lived, in an introspective travel mixing interview with archive footage. Step by step and exposing of every theme that it deserves be exposed, the documentary shows as it were all the keys of that time: John Lennon's shooting, Ronald Reagan's election as president, Cold War between USA and USSR, the creation of the own MTV, the breakthrough of the music video industry, NASA's Challenger space shuttle disaster, nuclear explosion in Chernobyl, the fall of the Wall of Berlin, Michael Jackson and Madonna, the rise of the technology in videogames for children and cars and disc-man for adults, the most famous TV series of that time, racial riots along USA claiming the end of the racism, body cult and fitness, fashion style in clothing and makeup, VHS, yuppies and luxury incarnated by the Wall Street's brokers, sex and eroticism, the crisis caused by the apparition of AIDS, drugs as crack and heroin, Oliver North's Irangate, new music genres as rap and hip-hop, break-dance, pressing catch, comics, Tiananmen's riot in China, the appearance of heavy metal bands, the start of the global conscience to preserve the environment and a special moment in memoriam for all the famous people that died along these years. An invaluable legacy for the most simple of the reasons: to be an odyssey about the 80s from the own 80s.
