A Man Called Dagger

1967 NR 1h 26m 4.8

A wheelchair-bound mad scientist plots to revive the Third Reich. Secret agent Dick Dagger is assigned to stop him.

Plucky and fearless Harper Davis (Terry Moore) risks her life when she joins Dick Dagger (Paul Mantee) in thwarting the scheme of Rudolph Koffman (Jan Murray), a notorious ex-Nazi concentration camp commandant, who has defected to the United States and plots to take over the world. Ingrid (Sue Ann Langdon) is Koffman;s mistress, who runs a "beauty farm" and turns her well-stacked wiles on Dagger, when he investigates the farm in order to obtain a lead in tracking down dastardly Rudolph Koffman. He forces Erica (Eileen O'Neill), one of the farms beautiful resident henchwomen to make a murder attempt on dauntless Dick and, when that fails, the Nazi villain, manipulates glamorous Girl-in-Auto with no name (Mimi Dillard) to liquidate Dagger by way of a murderous and spine-tingling auto chase. Dagger also finds himself trapped in an underground maze of dire-straits corridors experimental laboratories, and tortured in a brainwashing chamber filled with beautiful-but-dangerous henchwomen. And comes close to meeting his death when a yacht, he and plucky Harper are having a romantic rendezvous, is blown up. Koffman survives to confront Koffman in a terrifying climax in a meat-packing plant.
