'What an Idiot' is about a recently divorced 'nice guy' who falls head over heels in love with his gorgeous new boss. Unfortunately, his attempt to ask her out goes horribly wrong and in order to get out of the awkward situation he lies and tells her that he's gay. It's a comedy of errors as he gets in one ridiculous situation after another. It turns out they are perfect for each other but the little white lie that brought them together may ultimately tear them apart... forever. The film explores the notion of what happens when a man and a woman are getting to know each other and sex is taken out of the equation - do they actually connect on a deeper level?
