The Rules (for Men)

1999 R 1h 30m 3.2

A successful attorney lives by the "Rules for Men," a code of conduct for seducing beautiful women quick and often. However, he finds himself feeling a renewed and deep affection for an ex-girlfriend, which goes strictly against his code.

For successful criminal attorney Michael Vigilante (Robert Capelli Jr.), the "Rules" are a code of conduct for seducing beautiful women--quickly, smoothly, and often. Michael believes that a man's world revolves around sex, and everything else in life must support achieving that goal. And that's exactly what his 10 tried-and-true rules are all about. Between bedroom conquests and a rekindled affection for an old girlfriend (Christine Nagy), Michael must deal with his wisecracking law partner (Jackie Martling), an inept opposing attorney (Vincent Pastore), a sex-starved judge (Nancy Sirianni), bizarre clients (Kamal Ahmed, Jim Florentine), a Mafia tough guy (Ken Del Vecchio), and a burnt-out psychiatrist (Frank Gorshin). As Michael reveals his "Rules," he woos judges, wins court cases, educates his buddies--and successfully beds numerous hot women.
