Gabriel has been separated for four years, and his 9-year-old daughter Sofía is the center of his life; shunning any possibility of a romantic relationship, he focuses all his energies on work and Sofía. Then Vicky, a platonic love from his adolescence who is now a beautiful and independent woman, reappears. Catching up leads to possible romance until she announces that she would never get involved with a man with children; she just doesn't want kids in her life.
