There are frictions between Frank's newest partner Helen and Cathy. She worked for CSA before becoming a mom. Her computer savvy son helps her with her "game puzzles"/case as her whole family is kept in the dark as to her CSA job. A friend of Cathy's husband is moving to town and his son Brent is starting at Cathy's daughter Susan's (Jessy Schram) high school. She's "asked" to show Brent around.
