Bill barely escapes a lynch-mob headed by Cactus Jim's son John Culver (Fred Kohler Jr.) Bill convinces a visiting federal Judge Richards (Forbes Murray) of the governor's malfeasance of office, but the judge is murdered and Bill is again accused of murder.
