A US racing champion is haunted by intense visions of an American woman in some kind of danger in a English mansion. A British ESP and occult expert believes that his visions will really happen and asks him to help her investigate them.

In this unsold TV pilot turned television film, Tom Kovack, a famous American race car driver, suddenly starts having intense visions during a race. In them, an American woman and a young girl seem to be in some sort of danger in a English mansion. He gives an interview to a reporter and mentions this jokingly. A British rare books dealer and amateur ESP and occult expert Michele Brent contacts Kovack and asks him to help her find the mansion and investigate the case. He doesn't take her seriously at first but after suffering from further even more intense visions he gives in. She finds the mansion which turns out to be open for guests in summertime so they rent rooms there pretending that they don't know each other in order to avoid the suspicion of Mrs. Farraday, the mansion's welcoming but ominous owner, about what their true intentions are. Meanwhile, famous American actress Andrea Glenn and her teenage daughter Jennifer arrive at the mansion thinking they've been invited there by her secretive estranged husband whom Jennifer can't wait to see. Instead, they meet Louise Sanford, a regal wheelchair-bound elderly woman who claims to be Andrea's husband's cousin and who suggests that they stay in the mansion until the husband shows up. An Italian architect on vacation named Verelli, who is obsessed with the mansion's wine collection, and a odd young couple, George and Peggy Tracewell, who keep vanishing to presumably have a tryst are the other guests there. When Jennifer starts acting strange, Kovack and Brent quickly realize that something sinister and occult is happening in the mansion.
