Captain Spaulding (Groucho Mark),the noted explorer, returns from Africa and attends a gala party held by Mrs. Rittenhouse (Margaret Dumont). A painting displayed at that party is stolen, and the Marxes (with Zeppo as Spaulding's assistant) help recover it... or rather, they attempt to.
