Handsome, elegant gentleman Charlie arouses romantic interest with Roxanne when he walks into the wedding planner's shop which she runs with her widowed mother and best friend. Jack, whom Roxanne's ma presents as her groom after a short Paris holiday, instantly arouses mistrust and dislike.
